Declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1986, the city contains a rich variety of architectural splendours: its Alcazár, the Mosque of Cristo de la Luz, the Monastery of San Juan de los Reyes, the Cathedral of Santa María la Mayor, the Sinagogue of Santa María la Blanca, the Puente de Alcántara and the Church of Santo Tomé, amongst other wonders. First on our list: a theatrical tour of the Juedería accompanied by our troupe of actors playing the roles of some of the city’s emblematic historical characters, such as the Greek, Isabel the Catholic, or Miguel de Cervantes. Thanks to our dynamic and immersive tours, you will relive the history of Toledo, of its popular quarters, and of its picturesque alleys.
Most of Toledo’s nooks and crannies present fantastic opportunities to undertake a historical tour or themed visit, but none is as ideal as the Plaza de Zocodovar… especially if you would like to recreate a medieval atmosphere for your event. Be prepared to immerse yourselves into a world of dames and witches, of jugglers and buffoons, of mages and knights, of market squares, of music, and of incense. Dress up and interact with our actors, eat, drink, and dance your way through the event.
Gastronomic events in Toledo
Toledo is known for its traditional dishes and rich gastronomy: the “chochifrito” (lamb or goat meat), marinated partridge, carcamusas (beef or pork with seasonal vegetables), Pisto Manchego, rice “à la Toledana” and Toledo’s famous marzipan, are some of the city’s famous specialties.
This rich gastronomy is a great source of inspiration for our events in Toledo. Take for example, our cooking workshops which are the perfect opportunity for our clients to learn from professional chefs how to prepare some of the city’s typical dishes, then savour them with a delicious selection of Spanish wines.
You may also choose to put your team to the test with our team cooking challenge à la Top Chef. The rules of this event are mostly similar to those of the famous television show. Under the watchful eye of our jury, participants will have to compete against each other in teams and prepare a selection typical Spanish dishes with the utensils and ingredients provided to them. To add an extra difficulty to the challenge, the event is timed so teams need to organise themselves well to complete the challenge and to be crowned the winners.
Outdoor events in Toledo
If you want to organise an outdoor activity during your incentive trip to Spain, Toledo’s surrounding areas offer a splendid setting for any kind of outdoor team building activity : the ravines of Castrejón and Calañas, the Natural Park of Cabañeros, the Garganta de las Lanchas, the Laguna de los Carros, amongst others.
A variety of outdoor locations are available to undertake kayak excursions, participate in one of many CSR activities, witness a demonstration in falconry, or take part in a challenging Survivor team building activity to optimise your team’s work.
