Punta Umbria welcomes us once again to the South of Spain for a day of activities for team building in Huelva, a perfect destination for your incentive events in Spain! Once more, our team at Es.cultura Events travelled to Punta Umbria in the province of Huelva, a region on the border with Portugal where our event production company has organised a great number of team building activities throughout the years. Its climate, its gastronomy, its spectacular hotels, its beaches, and many other factors make of this small town a perfect location for all types of incentive events, whether a convention, a business trip, a product presentation, etc.
Team building in Huelva: first day of activities
We all know the potential for Spanish cities such as Seville, Malaga, Granada, Madrid, etc. for organising incentive events but… what do we know about Huelva? On this particular trip, we organised a series of events for a group of participants who had come for a convention in Spain. In total, 200 participants enjoyed all the beach team building activities that we had scheduled for them, accompanied by a splendid sun and perfect weather conditions throughout the weekend. The first day they spent on the beach, a fantastically active day for which our production team had prepared an agenda filled with multiple sports activities: a very entertaining team building session that included football and beach volley tournaments, paddle boat and paddle surf competitions, and a great dose of adrenaline! To round off an action-filled day in a more relaxed manner, our group set off on a sailing route in catamaran along the coast of the Costa de La Luz.
Second day of activities in Huelva
The second day kicked off with a flamenco workshop, and the open spaces of the Hôtel Barceló Punta Umbría were decorated with flamenco art and lanterns. A ‘sevillanas’ class awaited our group who, dressed entirely in typical Spanish flamenco attire, learnt the popular dance like true professionals. The group, guided by our best instructors, united with the sound of the music and enjoyed each and every step in the many choreographies they were shown. Our participants really gave it their all in our team building activities, working well in teams and displaying great values such as motivation and camaraderie. A day spent in a wonderful atmosphere filled with laughter and great moments. And to conclude our two days, a zumba class at sunset on the fine golden sand of Punta Umbria.
